- 1905, Apr 11 – Emigrated to Canada
- 1915, Jun 12 – Enrolled in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 35th Canadian Battalion
- 1915, Nov 22 – Embarked for Britain
- 1916, Feb 22 – Embarked for France with the 58th Battalion, 9th Infantry Brigade,
- 3rd Canadian Division. Saw action at the Ypres Salient; Battle of Mont Sorel; the Somme: etc.
- 1917, Nov 23 – Transferred to Canadian Light Railway Operating Company
– forwarded to 1st Tramways Company , Canadian Engineers - 1919, May 27 – Honourable discharge
- 1919 – received Meritorious Service Medal
- 1921 June – resided (boarded) at 61 Ferrier Ave., Toronto, ON
- 1921, Sep 28 – Married Mary B. Wilson
- 1931 – resided at 38 Milverton Blvd,Toronto worked for telegraph company
- 1940ish – Moved to tenth line Esquesing Twp., Halton County
- 1950ish – Farm off of hwy. 7, near Limehouse
- 1955 – moved to new build in Silvercreek
