This Will I Cherish

When peace comes to the world again and you return
once more — We shall build our lives anew… but not
quite as before. Things we took for granted I’ll be thank-
ful for each day. Freedom, home… the things jor which
we now must fight and pray.
I did not know until you went how much you meant
to me. Your love, your dear companionship,your help
and sympathy. . . .When together once again we make
another start—These things will I cherish with a glad and
grateful heart.
